We all know that the Ford Raptor is the ultimate F150 to buy for off-roading, but that comes at the expense of some features (such as onboard power) and towing capacity. The Tremor package adds off-road capability and distinctive styling when compared to other trims while keeping a reasonable tire size and maintaining comfort qualities. Our line of 2021 Ford F-150 Parts & Accessories work with this Tremor Package.
Tremor Package
To differentiate it from the rest of the lineup, Ford has given the F150 Tremor some unique exterior features. Active Orange is set as the signature color with accents showing up in the grille and recovery hooks. The accents find their way into the interior as well with special seat stitching and higher end finishes for the instrument panel. A Raptor-like skid plate protects front end components and pairs nicely with the bold hood design that is specific to this model.
Tremor Suspension
The basis of an off-road package is the suspension and this one starts with retuned springs in all four corners. Higher ground clearance is achieved and paired with monotube front shocks and twin tube rear shocks. When combined, the system gains 1.5 more inches of travel in the front and 1 inch of travel in the rear in comparison to other trim levels. The off-road suspension is finished off nicely with 33" all-terrain tires.
Tremor vs Raptor
A lot of the features have been listed above, but let's look at what specifically separates this model from the Raptor. For one, we can assume the Tremor will come in at a lower price point. With that, you're not getting the Fox Shocks and wider fenders that the Raptor offers. You also only get 33" tires, whereas the Raptor comes standard with 35" tires and has an option for 37". The tremor package will still allow you to take advantage of the onboard power which is something the Raptor doesn't offer. There is also a higher towing rating with the Tremor which comes in at 10,990lbs vs the Raptor's 8,200lbs.
Tremor Price & Availability
While we don't know the price quite yet, Ford has stated that the package will be available in the summer of 2021.
EDIT: All of our 2021 F150 parts and accessories work with the Tremor Package. Check back for F-150 updates and future product releases including front bumpers, rear bumpers, side steps, chase racks, and more.
This is OLD news. We need a Tremor package with a 6.5" bed. I’d trade my Lariat with the longer bed today for a Tremor IF I could get the longer bed and trailer towing mirrors. An actual front locker also like on my Badlands Bronco would be nice.
